Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer

Location: Home working with one day per week in Swindon

Salary: £40K – £45K dependent on experience and expectations.

 

Existing opportunity join an evolving infrastructure and cloud team, with particular focus on improving network and server environment.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Build, design and deploy secure and reliable network environments for office, cloud and data-centre environments using technology from industry leaders including Cisco, Microsoft and VMware.

• Develop, enhance and maintain our automation, using the latest toolsets.

• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimisation.
• Keep the infrastructure safe, secure and supported by ensuring backups meet the needs of the business.

 

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with and/or working towards:  VMWare VCP, Cisco CCNA, ITIL Foundation, CoBIT, COMPTIA, MCSA MCTS MCP.

• Technical business IT experience in a traditional data-centre and/or cloud environment.

• Microsoft technologies, Azure, Office 365, Dynamic 365, Sharepoint.

• Project (particularly Agile scrum) and day-to-day support experience.
