UX/UI Lead

UX/UI Lead

Salary: c.£50K

Location:  Primarily remote with 1-2 days in Swindon per month

UX/UI Lead required to take the digital experience to the next level.  A genuine opportunity to spearhead the function and shape new department.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead design projects from conception to delivery and collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Deliver user testing activity (facilitating, writing scripts, interviews, analysis), Including both lab and remote usability testing.
  • Produce user journeys, flow diagrams, wireframes, sitemaps, functional specifications, guidelines, and client facing documentation.
  • Facilitate collaborative design sessions
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative research and business requirements into effective design solutions across responsive web and native apps.
  • Create a consistent experience.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Familiarity with various prototyping tools.
  • Experience designing new, innovative layouts and designs that scale and flex across different platforms, including Apps, web, mobile, kiosks etc.
  • Strong conceptual thinking. We want people who can start a project off from an incredibly strong position and come up with surprising, smart concepts to move forward with.
  • Expertise in usability and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience in translating quantitative and qualitative research and business requirements into effective design solutions across responsive web and native apps.
  • Demonstrable mastery of user experience, interaction, and visual design.
  • Strong understanding of development for front-end and back-end services.
  • Experienced in working within Agile methodology environments such as SAFe.
