3rd Line Network Engineer – £40,000 to £50,000 – West Malling, Kent (1 day a week in the office)

Our client are looking to bring in a 3rd Line Network Support Engineer to join their existing team on one of their well known and biggest accounts.

They need someone to come with previous experience of being in a senior networking role and have CCNP (or equivalent), strong understanding of troubleshooting LAN, WAN, WIFI and Data Centre, configuring and troubleshooting firewalls from various vendors and be able to be comfortable to communicate with them in both technical and non-technical dialect.

We are looking to get someone who is happy to impart experience on more junior members of the team and demonstrate the best way of doing things. You will also be experienced in working to tight SLA with customers and engaging with them in person, over the phone, on email or via video calls.

You will be able to review and configure installations around LAN,WAN,WiFi and Firewalls, get involved with Root Cause Analysis, log and manage fault with 3rd party suppliers around ADSL, SDSL, Ethernet, NGA, MPF or SMPF.
