This could be an excellent entry level opportunity for a recent IT Graduates with some understanding of Databases such as MS SQL and who would like to further build on these skills and develop and learn more.

You will work within the Configuration team using technical expertise along with the appropriate software tools to scope and complete the technical design of a solution, along with the utilisation of appropriate software tools to configure our software applications to meet the specific requirements of each customer.

• To consult with customers to gather their requirements and understand their use of software applications.
• To utilize the requirements gathered post consultancy to build a formal specification of work document for the customer to review, agree and sign off.
• To configure and refine software applications remotely to the required standard.
• To complete testing of your work and that of your peers prior to releasing of software applications to the customer.
• To document & archive changes made to a customer’s system within the designated change control process.
• To investigate and resolve customer instances of software application issues.
• Where necessary, to liaise with other departments and suppliers to provide an effective efficient response to customer issues and queries.
• Where necessary, to escalate queries to project managers in order to provide an efficient effective resolution to customer issues.
• To regularly update customers and project managers on the progress of outstanding issues.
• To conduct training of end users remotely or on customer sites.
• To produce daily updates to communicate configuration progress with project delivery team.
• To complete timesheets in a timely manner each week.
• To assist in producing time estimates for configuration activities to supplement the Sales process.
• The person should have some kind of commercial experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript and SQL . Database experience is preferred.
• The role is customer-facing and will present opportunities for onsite consultancy with our customers (when appropriate).
