Infrastructure Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer – Bristol – £40,000 to £50,000 – 12 months

Bristol based organisation are looking to add an Infrastructure Engineer to their established team for an initial 12 months.  Working on networking projects you will have a proven background in working with Cisco switches and routers + VOIP applications.  Do you to site visits you must be able to drive.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and other hardware.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and encryption protocols.
• Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in IT infrastructure and security, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
• Providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the successful operation of the IT department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong technical skills, including experience with networking, operating systems, virtualization, and cloud computing.
• O365 (365 Admin Centre, Azure AD)
• Windows Server Admin, MS Servers (2016/19/22), Hyper-V, Active Directory.
• Cisco fibre and ethernet networks
• Cisco Meraki
• Intune a plus
• Storage solutions
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage projects and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• UK driving licence
