Service Desk Supervisor – Onsite – £27,000-£32,000 + 10% bonus
An established company is looking to add an ICT Service Desk Supervisor to their Service Desk Team. This role will be mostly focused on the provision of IT support for client-based services across the clients UK offices.
This role will see you supporting the service desk to ensure tickets raised are progressed either internally or with third party providers working alongside Service Operations Lead to ensure SLAs are adhered to. As well as day to day support being a point of escalation for tickets raised you will be responsible for supporting junior members of the team across different sites as and when required. You will also help to review all IT work instructions and policies to ensure they are compliant and update and republish any errors as appropriate. Although this role will be primarily based in South Cerney or Woking you would also need to travel to other offices so driving license and own transport is essential to carry out this role. may also need to assist in other areas of the business if required by business needs which will be disclosed at the time.
To be successful you will have previous 2 years minimum service desk experience. In that time, you would have ideally supported and mentored 1st line team members. You will have excellent knowledge of Windows servers to MCSE level. Proven experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint etc) and Microsoft Azure. Solid understanding of virtualisation (Hyper-V and VMware) and hardware (laptops, desktop, mobile devices, MFD’s). You will also need sound experience with networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) including wireless LANS. Any Apple or iOS administration would also be beneficial to this position.
This role is customer focussed so you will have excellent communication and customer service skills, able to work under pressure independently and prioritise your workload. You will be tenacious and able to work through any issue or problem until it is resolved.
