Technical Business Analyst – £60,000-£65,000 – Remote

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with expertise in Dynamics 365 CRM to join our clients team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform root cause analysis, and turn requirements into well-structured technical specifications. Experience with data modelling, user stories, and various diagramming tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for Dynamics 365 CRM implementations and enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring clarity and feasibility for developers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria to ensure business and technical alignment.
  • Create logical data models, state transition diagrams, activity flow diagrams, and behaviour-driven development (BDD) scenarios to support clear communication and project objectives.
  • Perform data modelling to align system data structures with business needs.
  • Work alongside developers, testers, and end-users to ensure solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques and the ability to create logical data models.
  • Proficiency in defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and utilising tools such as state transition diagrams, activity flow diagrams, and behaviour-driven development.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and apply findings to optimise solutions.
  • Familiarity with UML or similar diagramming tools for creating clear, structured diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of other CRM systems or enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and associated tools for backlog management and sprint planning.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
