QA Lead

QA Lead – homebased 

 

Our client is entering a new phase of some exciting growth plans and the increase in size of the QA function is going to be key to this development.

 

You will be joining an agile team and your responsibility will be to oversee all the testing activities – from planning to execution. Joining a team of 5, you will be a QA Lead in terms of leading the projects, not in a line management capacity –  candidates to apply for this role must be very technical and hands on, rather than managerial and hands off. You will work closely with the Scrum Master to get the project plan in order and set milestones, and then you will be tasked making sure the work done by the QA team achieves those.

 

Candidates to be considered for this role must have recent and thorough experience of manual, automation, performance and penetration testing, along with good technical and practical knowledge of selenium. You will have test plan designing and review experience and be able to take full accountability for this along with the QA process. Experience of Web API Testing is important with Postman.

 

This is a remote based role which will require coming to the office once a month and you will be joining a forward thinking team in a very tech focussed organisation that is really pushing to take itself to the next steps. This is a pivotal role that will also come with a lot of potential for growth.

 

This is a very technical role, so candidates will need to demonstrate this ability at interview stage with an in-depth discussion, so you will need recent and solid experience to fall back on.
