We are seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Automation Tester to join our QA team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes. If you are passionate about software quality and have a strong background in automation testing, we want to hear from you.
You will be getting involved in projects such as transitioning to a new Automation model, and this is something that the business will be requiring some real hands on experience in doing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and C#.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test cases.
- Create and execute test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks using SpecFlow.
- Conduct web API testing using tools like Postman to ensure the integrity and reliability of APIs.
- Utilize Git source control to manage test scripts and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Perform SQL queries to validate data integrity and conduct database testing.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with other teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and facilitate efficient delivery of quality software.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Scrum Methodology, with experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of Git source control for version management and collaboration.
- Experience in test plan creation and execution, including identifying test scenarios and defining acceptance criteria.
- Expertise in automated testing using Selenium WebDriver with C#.
- Familiarity with SpecFlow for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing.
- Experience with web API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing and validation.
This is a remote based role which will require coming to the office once a month and you will be joining a forward thinking team in a very tech focussed organisation that is really pushing to take itself to the next steps. This is a pivotal role that will also come with a lot of potential for growth.
This is a very technical role, so candidates will need to demonstrate this ability at interview stage with an in-depth discussion, so you will need recent and solid experience to fall back on.
