Service Desk Analyst – Office Based Fareham – £18,500-£22,500  

 

An established IT company is looking to add a Service Desk Analyst to their growing team.

 

In this role you will be the initial point of contact supporting technical calls providing the highest standard of customer service through a ticketing system for end users. Taking action with any raised technical issues logged by the internal helpdesk system or in person taking ownership of the incident with an ideal first-time fix approach. Handling your calls in a professional manner and prioritising your workload is essential in this fast-paced environment within a small team. You will fulfil service requests following business procedures, upholding consistency and quality of service by maintaining excellent customer service and communication whilst helping to identify and help drive any needed improvements in customer satisfaction. Within this position, you will also be required to complete all elements of the client’s apprenticeship program which will require some self-study, so self-discipline is also needed for this position.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have clear communication and excellent customer service experience. Technical ability is not essential, although is it an advantage, but you will need to have a passion for IT and customer service. Beneficial knowledge would be Windows Operating Systems both Windows 10 client and Windows Server, experience working with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc ideally with Office 365. Good knowledge of Networking such as TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS is also beneficial.
