Test Analyst – Swindon/Hybrid – £30,000-£35,000

 

Our client are looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join their team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our business-critical systems. This role is primarily focused on manual testing, but experience in test automation would be a bonus.

You’ll be working across a range of platforms, including LS Central, NAV, Magento, or DevOps, ensuring robust testing processes are in place. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for quality assurance, we’d love to hear from you about this.  This is a hybrid role that would require you in the Swindon office around once a week.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Plan, create, and execute manual test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.

Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers and business stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of test plans and strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Assist in test automation if experienced, but this is not a core requirement.
Ensure testing aligns with business requirements for LS Central, NAV, Magento, or DevOps environments.

 

Skills & Experience Required

 

Proven experience as a Test Analyst in a commercial environment.
Strong experience in manual testing (functional, regression, UAT, and integration).
Hands-on experience with either  LS Central, NAV, Magento, or DevOps.
A relevant test certification such as ISEB or ISTQB.
Understanding of test automation (Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a bonus.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate testing insights effectively.
Experience using Azure DevOps or other test management tools.
