PHP Developer – Slough – £45,000 to £55,000 – on-site

Slough based client are looking to add a PHP Developer to their established development team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on coding, collaborating closely with colleagues, and working in an environment where your ideas can directly shape products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise PHP-based applications and internal systems
• Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications
• Contribute to planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong experience with PHP (7/8)
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience working with MySQL or similar databases
• Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Experience with API development (REST)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
