BI Data Analyst (SQL and Power BI) – Banbury – Hybrid – £40,000 to £50,000

If you’re a SQL focused BI Data Analyst who loves turning data into clear, meaningful insight, this role gives you the space, ownership and visibility you’ve been looking for. Our client in Banbury wants someone who can shape how reporting works across the business.

This opportunity will include extracting data, building dashboards and financial reporting to facilitate data‑driven decision‑making.

What you’ll be doing

• Using your SQL expertise to extract, transform and validate data
• Creating engaging, visual dashboards in Power BI that help teams make more informed decisions
• Working directly with stakeholders to understand what they need and why
• Developing reporting solutions across SQL/Jet, Data Warehouse and Power BI
• Improving existing reporting processes and helping the business get more from its data

Your background

• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with complex datasets

• Experience creating dashboards and visual reports
• Knowledge of Power BI, Jet (a plus) and Data Warehouse environments
• A collaborative approach and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
