Web Developer – £35,000-£40,000 – Marlborough, Wiltshire

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications using C#, SQL, .NET, HTML, and other modern technologies. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using C#, SQL, .NET, HTML, and other frontend and backend technologies.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Utilise .NET framework for server-side scripting and backend development.
• Design and optimize SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse user needs, and define technical solutions.
• Optimise application performance, scalability, and security, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and mentor junior team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in web development using C#, SQL, .NET, HTML, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL databases, with a focus on data modelling and optimisation.
• Familiarity with .NET framework for server-side scripting and backend development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

This is a hybrid position which will be 3 days a week in the office but given the location of the office, you must have a driving licence and a vehicle as the public transport routes are too infrequent.
